First Aid

The school works in close partnership with the Village of Myrnam to create opportunities for the students of New Myrnam School. The Village recently received grant funding to provide educational opportunities for the community. In consultation with the school, the first course the Village of Myrnam will offer is First Aid. The course will run during the school day on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30. First aid is a valuable skill to have on student resumes and students can earn a high school credit for taking the course. Students will be working in the CTEC classroom. The course will run from 9-5 both days. 

This course is primarily geared towards students and staff of the school.  A second set of dates will be offered for general community members in the future. However, if we do not maximize on the spaces available for the November 29/30 dates, we will open the course up to our families. If you would like to be first in line to take the first aid course yourself, email Mrs. Eriksen to be put on the wait list.
